Yes, go to the 3D movie! I don’t have any specific things to tell you. I went to the beach. I LOVE the ocean. I would live on a sailboat if I could! I worried a lot before my initial visit. I was going to wait and see what they told me before we took off. It took someone pointing out to us that there was nothing to stop us from leaving for us to go. I wasn’t working, so we just up and left. I enjoyed that weekend so much! It was just me and Robin spending quality time together. And I had that pre-chemo party. Maybe a pre-surgery party? So, I guess my recommendation is to do those little things we all put off. There’s nothing like cancer that will make you seize the moment. I hope I’m not sounding gloom and doom saying to do things while you can. I’ve learned to say and do things now (except cleaning my house) that I would hold back or be too scared to do. And I think it applies to everyone, “healthy” or not.
Go see Journey to the Center of the Earth. Definitely a good 3 D flick.
Hay look around and see the wonders of God’s gifts.
Hugs to the Candy man and family
I don’t know if you’re big into exercise, but I find that made a huge difference with my recovery after each surgery I had. A good workout also helps clear the mind. I don’t know how well you feel, but even a walk outside will do the body wonders. Take care and good luck!
